THE COMPANY

Grosfillex: 100% Made in France

In 1927 Auguste, François and Jean Grosfillex founded Grosfillex in the small village of Arbent, near Oyonnax (01). The company took an industrial direction in 1954 when Raymond Grosfillex decided to produce more sophisticated plastic products for the home, with garden furniture, planters, folding doors, joinery, and so forth. These new plastic products were practical, comfortable, durable and robust, revolutionising the home environment.

Grosfillex has become a multinational group with an international presence, with three production plants, in France, the USA and Brazil, as well as several subsidiary companies which spread Grosfillex’s image to all four corners of the globe.

ENVIRONMENT

As a company, Grosfillex respcts the environment: our manofacturing process does not produce emissions and we make constant efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle materials. Grosfillex has reduced waste by 70%. Plastic production uses less energy than the production of similar products with different materials.
As protecting the environment has always been part of the company’s ethic, in 2000 Grosfillex entered into the Vinyl 2010 sustainable development programme. Grosfillex and the people that contribute to its continuing success are always looking for solutions to guarantee the delivery of safe and recyclable products to customers.
